The Police pointed me to the line, which was already a block long, around the corner on Fredrick Douglass Blvd., behind fences & 4 people deep.

They had put up barricades to break up the crowd at the corners. One young black cop let some middle aged women get in, just before the cutoff point.

They shouted "Thank you... We love you, & James Brown loves you!"

He shouted back "Well I love James Brown!"

Then he yelled "OOOOOWW... I FEEL GOOD!" and did a spin & a dip in perfect James Brown style, to the whooping delight of the women.
